Cii International Events Essay

This competition is an attempt to bring together the aspirations of the youth on how they perceive their India to be. The aim is to invite youth to participate and share their view/vision about India and to encourage the youth to think and take a concrete step to make India a better place to live in.

A pan India level competition, this aims to draw participation from students across streams from secondary schools up to post graduate students. Students can share their vision in the form of essays, photographs, paintings, video or selfie.

About the Jury

Mr Jamshyd Godrej, Past- President, CII & Chairman and Managing Director, Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Company Limited is the Chairman of the Panel of Jury for this Competition.

Jury Members include:

  • Mr Keshav Murugesh, Group CEO, WNS Global Services Pvt Ltd
  • Mr Sharad Sharma, Managing Director and CEO, BNP Paribas Asset Management India Private Limited
  • Mr Ninad Karpe, Chairman, CII Western Region, Director, Aptech Ltd  
  • Ms Brinda Miller, Executive Committee Member, Kala Ghoda Arts Association and Director ABM Architects Ltd.
  • Mr Anil Dharker, Founder & Director, Mumbai International Literary Festival, Columnist and Writer

Eligibility

Students presently enrolled for:

- Class VIII-XII

- Post-graduate / Undergraduate studies

Participants can register and upload Essay/Photograph/Painting/Selfie/Video relevant to the theme on CII The India We Want’ Mobile App ( available on App Store & Google Playstore)OR at  www.theindiawewant.org

Registrations open from 15 December 2017 to 18 February 2018

Top 3 winners in each category will win exciting prizes.


CII Student Essay Competition 'The India We Want'


Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Maharashtra is delighted to announce the launch of the Fourth Edition of the Student Essay Competition titled ‘The India We Want’.
